MUSIC ON THE WIND ALL SET FOR DEBUT MUSICAL CONCERT TOUR OF ISRAEL & BETHLEHEM
On Wednesday the 6th of June 2018, 7 UK musicians will fly out to Israel to begin a music tour of Israel and The West Bank. The group will be performing small concerts in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Galilee and Bethlehem.
The vision of the tour, called Music on The Wind, is to invest in the local people, and to bring the healing and restoration power of live music to the diverse communities Israel and Palestine. The project is effort of the Directors of the i61Collective; Deborah Paul, Jon Simmons, and UK Palestinian Refugee Christy Anastas.
Christy and Deborah’s short film, Love Has No Borders won Gold in the Religious Freedom and Business film category, which was screened at the UN in Geneva and at the Religious Freedom and Business Symposium and Peace Summit in Seoul, South Korea in March.
The tour will be promoted to diverse communities from across Israel and Bethlehem.
As directors of the I61Collective, Deborah and Jon will be taking seven talented artists from different musical backgrounds, a filming crew including a sound engineer, a tour host and a concert planner are making up the core team.
